New Groups

Please note, to participate in any group activities, you need to be a member of Cheshunt u3a.

As our Chair, Stewart Walter, said at our monthly meeting the ethos of the u3a is about sharing and acquiring new skills and interests.

Following on from our success implementing 8 new groups, here is an update on where we are regarding the new groups initiative. As mentioned previously a minimum of 5 members interested in a particular group is required to take things to the next level.

We are pleased to say a number of new groups have met this criteria.

They are:

Line Dancing for Beginners - Active, open to members

Are you interested/can you help? Having thought about what you might want from the potential group. If you have a skill which would help get a group going, please get in touch. For example, if you speak one of the foreign languages could you help, if you play bridge could you assist, are you a Line Dancer who could help to get the group going. No qualifications are required, just a bit of enthusiasm and willingness.

All these groups are run on a voluntary basis with support and assistance from our committee and wider membership.

If you have an idea for a new group please contact Frank Sluter, Groups Co-ordinator via email on Enquiries on Groups.
