The French group is still going strong and is progressing well. They are becoming more confident in speaking to one another and are able to understand the meaning of the text in the book we are following. Listening skills are being introduced, but they are more difficult to grasp; however, this is generally true for all languages. We will be stopping for the school holidays. However, some members may meet locally occasionally for coffee and a chat in French. We are pleased to say we will be able to give more to Lynne of Tesco for her charity fund at the end of term, collected from those who have tea and biscuits. We will start again in September 2026 when schools return.
