Our May Meal was at Layla Restaurant, Old Pond, Cheshunt, on Tuesday 13th May 2025.
JANUARY 2025
Our first lunch for 2025 was at the Mai Thai Restaurant, High Street Cheshunt on Tuesday 21st January 2025.
DECEMBER 2024
Following the success of the Afternoon Tea held at the Café in the Laura Trott centre earlier in the year, a further Afternoon Tea was arranged for Tuesday 17th December 2024.
NOVEMBER 2024
Our meal on 12th November was at Nonna’s Kitchen, Hoddesdon.
OCTOBER 2024
Our meal on 8th October 2024 was at Layla's on the Old Pond, Cheshunt.
SEPTEMBER 2024
Our meal on 17th September was at Mai Thai Restaurant, High Street Cheshunt.
JULY 2024
For something completely different, we had an Afternoon Tea on 30th July 2024 at the Laura Trott Café. Our Afternoon Tea was viewed as a success and represented excellent value for money. We will definitely have a re-visit later in the year.
JULY 2024 - Lunch was at Laila's at the Old Pond, Cheshunt on Tuesday 16th July.
APRIL 2024 - Nothing planned for April.
SEPTEMBER 2022
On Tuesday 13th September, 34 members met at Manto’s for lunch. The food and décor, along with the service was excellent and exceptional value for money. The manager was very interested to know about our u3a and this particular group.12 He suggested we might like to attend on a Sunday for Lunch (it would be from the A La Carte Menu; I have one copy) and he would provide the entertainment. His suggestion was a Rat Pack singer. The date to be arranged. I suggest a Sunday at the end of October or beginning of November.

Our lunch in July was held at the new restaurant Manto’s in Wormley...excellent service and food, in a very nice setting, definitely will make a return visit.
