The newly formed "Play the harmonica group" has, with the support of Frank Sluter, attracted 11 members, whilst the search for a suitable "soundproof" venue resulted in agreement with Tesco, Brookfield Centre, to use their community room.

The group will meet twice a month at Tesco on Thursdays at 4pm. The first meeting was on Thursday 26th February 2026.

The group is thriving, with enthusiastic teaching and committed learners making good progress. Most members can now perform basic techniques, with some playing short, well-known tunes.
