JULY 2025
Teresa Joanne - July 2025 - King George Dock - London. This time it was Music of the 50s and 60s. On 26th July the group visited the Teresa Joanne. We all enjoyed a lovely afternoon with a two-course lunch and afternoon entertainment. Many enjoyed watching the planes take off and land at City Airport. It was a successful and thoroughly enjoyable trip.
JUNE 2025
On 4th June 16 members traveled to London to The Fabulous Kit Kat Club to see Cabaret. This was an exceptional show, with magnificent staging, depicting the hedonistic society in Berlin during the lead up to WWII. Something different, a thoroughly enjoyable show.
MAY 2025
& Juliet - Cliffs Pavilion, Westcliff on Sea. On 7th May the group, on a lovely sunny day, travelled to the Cliffs Pavilion Westcliff on Sea. We went to see & Juliet which had been running in the West End. It was a very lively show with lots of music and a very unusual story line.

JUNE 2024
On the 9th June the group went to see the spectacular Abba Voyage. This was thoroughly enjoyable and totally different to any of the other shows we had previously been to, with wonderful songs and lighting effects.
SEPTEMBER 2023
The group enjoyed a very successful outing to see The Lion King on the 6th September. it was a very lively and entertaining show with fantastic costumes.
JUNE 2023
On the 15th June, 46 members went to see Grease. This was a lively and colourful show with lots of lovely dancing routines.
MARCH 2023
Since the last meeting 12 members went by train to London to see The Book of Mormon. This was a very entertaining if somewhat controversial show
DECEMBER 2022
The group enjoyed a very successful Christmas outing to Hunters Meet on the 21st December, 45 of us enjoyed a 4 course meal, with afternoon entertainment. The food was good and the music and dancing enjoyable.
NOVEMBER 2022
The group travelled to London's Savoy Theatre on the 9th November to see Pretty Woman - we had very good seats in the Dress Circle and enjoyed a lively show.
SEPTEMBER 2022
Last month the group went to Milton Keynes Theatre to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. We were delayed for nearly an hour on the motorway due to an accident but still arrived in time to get lunch before the show

A very successful and excellent show ,Lord of the Dance, was enjoyed by the group last month at the Cliffs Pavillion, Southend

Our first trip to the theatre since the pandemic took place on Thursday 19th May, and we had a full coach apart from a few last-minute cancellations., due to unforeseen circumstances. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the show.
